While our internal model is strictly focused on cold, hard data, we recognize that human analysts at places like Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and Gold Derby spend their time tracking factors the math cannot yet see—things like a studio’s massive campaign spend, “overdue” narratives for veteran actors, or the general voter psychology shifts that occur late in the season. By integrating their consensus (at 65%) with our data-driven historical odds (35%), we ensure our final probability accounts for both the historical math and the modern-day momentum.
